All Things Liberty Winterfest set for Jan. 24
The All Things Liberty Winterfest is coming soon.
The annual Liberty Central School District event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in Liberty Middle School and High School Gymnasiums. Snow date is Saturday, Jan. 31.
All are welcome for games, crafts, prizes, hot cocoa, music and a variety of community vendors. It is free to enter and play games. There will be some local vendors selling items for all who are interested. Those interested in becoming a vendor should email Community Schools Coordinator Katlyn Rusin at krusin@libertyk12.org.
HPAC to host holiday events for kids
The Hurleyville Performing Arts Center will host two holiday events for students this month.
A Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6. The cost is $15, or $5 for children 3 and younger. The event will include a buffet, crafts, holiday music and photos. Those who wish to have Santa give their student a gift should drop off a wrapped present by Dec. 1. Email Megan@hpacny.org for details.
There will also be a Kids’ Crafts hour starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17. The cost is $10. Children will have the chance to create three wooden tree-cookie ornaments and enjoy cup of hot cocoa during this relaxed, family-friendly activity. Each ticket includes all materials and a cup of cocoa. Each child must be registered and accompanied by an adult. Adults do not need to register.
