A Message from the Superintendent (VIDEO)

Hello Liberty:

As we approach the final weeks of the 2023-24 school year, I want to thank you for all of your support throughout the year.

The support of the 2024-25 budget proposal was overwhelming, with more than 1,000 votes cast, almost 93.5% in favor of the plan. I am proud of what we have accomplished so far, and the continued support of the wonderful Liberty community is vital in meeting our mission to empower each student to contribute and thrive in a diverse community by pursuing their potential.

I also appreciate the support provided to our students in the athletics, academic and arts realms. Over the past few months we have been treated to terrific concerts, an outstanding art show featuring more than 300 works by our students, celebrations of academic achievements and intense competition by our student athletes at all levels. I wish our track and field athletes who will be competing in postseason competition the best of luck in the coming weeks.

The end of the year is a busy one for our students and their families — with testing, celebrations and events taking place across the district in June, culminating with our graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28, on the football field, weather permitting.

I am looking forward to all the activity and energy these last weeks will bring.

I encourage families to do all they can to encourage and support their students in this busy time, and take time to breathe and enjoy and acknowledge all they have accomplished this year. Thank you
