An important message from the Superintendent of Schools

Dear Liberty,

Earlier today, September 11, a Liberty Elementary School student found a piece of a bullet on their way to school and showed it to other students. The piece was confiscated, and the situation was handled immediately in accordance with our code of conduct. Families of the students involved have been notified. Please be assured that at no time was there any danger to students or staff.

Thank you,
Dr. Patrick Sullivan
Superintendent of Schools
