Dear Liberty,

As we communicated earlier, the Gray Elephant carrying Liberty Central School District students was involved in a traffic accident during its morning route today, Sept. 18. Nine students, a bus monitor, and the driver were on the bus at the time of the accident. Emergency services were immediately notified and responded to the scene. At this time, no injuries have been reported as a result of the accident. Out of an abundance of caution, all students were subsequently transported to the hospital for further evaluation. 

Liberty works closely with our transportation partner, Rolling V, to ensure the safety of our students. We extend our sincere thanks to Rolling V, first responders, and school staff for their prompt response.
