The goal of the Communications Office is to be the first and best source of district information and to provide avenues of communication between the district and its students, staff, and residents.
The Communications Office manages the district website and social media, produces news articles and press releases, coordinates media coverage of school events and news, and produces a variety of district publications throughout the year.

For a large portion of the day, you leave your kids in our care. The education of the students in our community is a responsibility we don’t take lightly, and something we know doesn’t stop when students leave school. Working together has always been a huge part of our process, so please utilize the following resources for staying connected to our schools!

Parents and legal guardians of Liberty students have the ability to access school-related information about their children through a web-based application called Parent Portal. Parent Portal is an extension of the district’s current student database system, SchoolTool.
The information that is accessible through Parent Portal includes schedules, grades, progress reports, report cards, attendance records and, in some cases, class assignments. Parents can also e-mail teachers directly from Parent Portal pages if they have questions or comments.
The district is excited to announce that parents and students in all grades will now be able to access Parent Portal through their smart phones. Get assignments, grades and attendance information instantly in one view.
Once the app is downloaded, enter the following URL: https://st-ly.mhric.org/liberty/. Your username and password is the same as the one used for the Parent Portal website.
For parents: In order to access the Parent Portal mobile app, you must be an existing Parent Portal account holder. Not registered for Parent Portal? Contact your child’s school main office.
For students: In order to access the Parent Portal mobile app, you must have activated your Google account through your school.
Set up and activation for the SchoolTool Parent Portal creation is an ongoing process. We ask for your patience as the district diligently works toward getting accounts established.
Our goal for Liberty’s Facebook page is to create a dialogue with our fellow community members, and we cannot do that without hearing from you. We encourage you to join us there and post your comments, questions, and even media to our page. Why? Because what makes our great district run are the people behind it, and also the people we serve. We couldn’t do it without you.
A note about Facebook
The district uses Facebook as a way to share important information about our district and schools, as well as the achievements of both our students and staff.
We ask that parents, students and residents refrain from using Liberty’s Facebook page in place of standard communication practices, such as contacting a teacher or school principal, in order to share personal issues and concerns.
