Police deem threat noncredible

On Sunday, Jan. 28, Liberty Central School District Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sullivan sent the following message to families.

Good morning Liberty families,

Last night, Saturday, Jan. 27, the district was informed that a student made a statement that created a safety concern. The Liberty Police Department was immediately contacted, and after investigating found there was no credible threat.

We take all safety concerns seriously and encourage if anyone sees or hears something concerning, that they notify a trusted adult or a member of law enforcement.
