Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports

Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a systemic approach to proactive, school-wide behavior that applies evidence-based programs, practices and strategies for all students to increase academic performance, improve safety, decrease problem behavior, and establish a positive school culture.

Through continuous  teaching, acknowledgement and/or feedback of positive student behavior, PBIS will help reduce unnecessary discipline and promote a climate of greater productivity, safety and learning. All classes at Liberty Central Schools have declared the following PBIS expectations:

BE RESPONSIBLE
BE RESPECTFUL
BE THERE, BE READY
FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
