Wall of Fame

The Liberty Central School District Wall of Fame provides a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of graduates or attendees who have walked the halls of Liberty’s schools.

The distinguished alumni named to the Wall of Fame represent an extraordinary range of personal and professional achievements. Founded in 2011 by the Liberty Central School District Board of Education, it is our hope that such recognition inspires our current students, both in school and beyond.

Graduates and attendees of the Liberty Central School District who have made a lasting and outstanding contribution to society in their lives and careers are eligible for nomination to the Wall of Fame. Nominations are reviewed by the Wall of Fame Committee, which is made up of volunteers representing the school district, the local community, and the Board of Education.

We are pleased to honor these inductees, celebrate their successes, and have them reunited with the Liberty Central School District. Inductees are invited to the annual Wall of Fame reception and induction, and a plaque for each inductee is displayed in the high school lobby.

Nomination Process

Former students who attended or graduated from the Liberty Central School District and have made a lasting and outstanding contribution in their life and career may be nominated to the Wall of Fame.

Anyone may nominate a Liberty alumnus for this distinction. A deceased Liberty alumnus may also be nominated.

Selection Process

The Wall of Fame Committee, which is made up of representatives from the district, the local community, and the Board of Education, will review the nominations and determine inductees to the Liberty Wall of Fame. Committee members serve three-year terms.

There is no limit to how many nominees will be selected for induction, and all information discussed by the committee is kept confidential.

No One to be Inducted into the Wall of Fame in 2026

The Wall of Fame Committee met in March to review the nominations for the Class of 2026; however, there were no nominees selected for induction.

“I appreciate the effort of those who took time to submit nominations,” Assistant Superintendent Dr. Derek Adams said. “Although no one will be inducted this year, I know there are numerous Liberty alumni making a positive impact in our community and beyond, and I look forward to nominations for the 2027 Class.”

Those who were nominated may be nominated again, preferably with additional or different supporting materials.

The Wall of Fame celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of graduates or attendees who have walked the halls of Liberty’s schools.

Because no new members will be inducted in June, the 2026 ceremony will not take place.
