• Transportation survey: Liberty Central School District has emailed a form to all district families asking them to update their information regarding transportation for the 2026-27 school year. Forms must be filled out by June 30. If you have not received the form, please call the Business Office at 845-292-6171.
  • Registration: All slots for the 2026-27 pre-kindergarten class have been filed. Applications to be placed on a waitlist are still being taken. Kindergarten registration is also now open. Find more information about registration for the programs here.

Summer meals and menus

Liberty Central School District will again offer free summer meals to all children 18 and younger through the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.

Starting June 29, sit-down and bagged breakfasts and lunches will be served at Francis A. Hanofee Park at 136 Sunset Lake Road in Liberty. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m., with lunch served from 11 a.m. to noon. Meals will be also be served at Liberty Elementary, with breakfast offered from 8:15 to 8:40  a.m. and breakfast from 11:30 a.m. to noon.  Meals will be served at Hanofee through Aug. 14 and Liberty Elementary through Aug. 21. No meals will be served July 3 because of the July 4 holiday.

Breakfast

  • Mondays: Whole grain cereal, fruit, 100% juice, 1% or fat-free milk.
  • Tuesdays:  Whole grain bagel, fruit, 100% juice, 1% or fat-free milk.
  • Wednesdays: Whole grain cereal, fruit, 100% juice, 1% or fat-free milk.
  • Thursdays: Yogurt and gram crackers, fruit, 100% juice, 1% or fat-free milk..
  • Fridays: Whole grain cereal, fruit, 100% juice, 1% or fat-free milk.

Lunch

All sandwiches also contain lettuce, except peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

  • Monday, June 29: Whole grain ham and cheese sandwich, veggie sticks, assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
  • Tuesday, June 30: Whole grain chicken tender wrap, veggie sticks, assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.

  • Thursday, July 2: Tuna or ham sandwich, tossed salad, assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
  • Friday, July 3: No meals, closed for the July 4 holiday.

  • Wednesday, July 8: Whole grain turkey and cheese sandwich, broccoli, assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
  • Thursday, July 9:  Tuna or ham sandwich, tossed salad assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
  • Friday, July 10: Whole grain Italian combo sandwich, veggie sticks assorted fruit, 1% milk or fat-free chocolate milk.
