The School Counselors, Social Workers and School Psychologists want to remind you that we are here for you and always available to provide social and emotional support and resources.

If you are struggling with stress or anxiety, simply want to talk or see a supportive face, please email us and we will set up a phone call or time to meet, either in person or remotely, so that we can provide appropriate resources to you.

Children’s Mobile Crisis Intervention

A free mental health hotline and mobile crisis intervention specializing in helping children.

The Children’s Mobile Crisis Intervention service is free and operates nights, weekends and holidays providing immediate assistance to families  when a child is experiencing a behavioral or emotional crisis. A clinician is available to provide guidance and support by phone or in the home. To be eligible, the child must be:

  • Under the age of 18
  • Residing in Sullivan County with a parent or guardian
  • Experiencing an emotional or behavioral crisis

Hours of Operation

  • Monday: 5 p.m. –  7 a.m. Tuesday
  • Tuesday: 5 p.m. –  7 a.m. Wednesday
  • Wednesday: 5 p.m. –  7 a.m. Thursday
  • Thursday: 5 p.m. –  7 a.m. Friday
  • Friday-Sunday: Beginning at  5 p.m. Friday, service is available continuously throughout the weekend until 7 a.m. Monday.
  • Holidays: 24 hours

24 Hour Crisis Text Lines

It’s not easy being a teenager. A free, anonymous, text-based support network that is available 24 hour a day, every day.  Simply text “GOT5” to 741-741 to start a texting conversation with a trained Crisis Counselor who can help you get through a difficult moment.

A new national crisis and suicide lifeline has also been established.  Those who call or text 988, will be connected to a trained counselor within the existing lifeline network. Printable “palm-size” resources on this hotline are available in English and Spanish.
