• Notice: Liberty Central School District is now closed today, Feb. 20, 2026, because of expected snowy and icy conditions throughout the day.  LMS Drama Club’s production of “Willy Wonka Jr.” is canceled for Friday. Tickets purchased for Friday night’s performance will be honored at either of Saturday’s performances, at 2 and 6 p.m.

  • Under construction: The athletic field and track area is no longer accessible to the public.  The area will be closed as construction continues. The soccer fields remain open.
  • Update: A portion of the Elementary Ballfield remains closed for public use. Please respect the signage and barriers in place.

Title I Right To Know

Parents have the right to request information about the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teachers. Requests should be directed, in writing, to the school principal.

You have the right to know:

  • If the teacher has met New York State qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas taught
  • If the teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which NYS qualification or licensing criteria have been waived
  • The teacher’s college major; whether the teacher has advanced degrees or certifications and, if so, the subject of those degrees or certifications
  • If your child receives services from any instructional assistants or paraprofessionals, the qualifications of those individuals.
