The following school supply lists have been provided for the 2026-27 school year at Liberty Middle School.

2026-2027 School Supply Lists

To help your child start the school year prepared, please review the supply list for their grade level and team. Some items may need to be replenished throughout the year.

Grade 5

Ms. Gabay/Mrs. Kedler

ELA & Social Studies

  • 1 composition notebook
  • 1 folder

Math & Science

Much of the math work is completed on a Chromebook. Students may choose to show their work using pencil and paper, a dry-erase desktop, or a combination of both.

Recommended Supplies

  • Dry erase marker set
  • Chromebook-compatible stylus (labeled with student’s name)
  • Computer mouse, preferably wired (optional and labeled with student’s name)

Additional Supplies

  • 3 packages of sharpened #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
  • 1 hand-held pencil sharpener with receptacle for shavings
  • 1 small pencil/dry erase/stylus case or pouch
  • Erasers (handheld or pencil-top)
  • 1 box of tissues
  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Crayon set and/or colored pencil set
  • Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (student preference)
  • 4 highlighters
  • 3 folders
  • Glue sticks
  • Change of clothes (in case students get wet or dirty)
  • Sweatshirt (for cooler classrooms)

Daily Student Supplies

Students will carry a zipper binder from class to class. All items below should fit inside the binder.

  • 3-hole, one-subject notebook (labeled “Assignment Notebook”)
  • 3-hole folder (labeled “Homework Folder”)
  • Binder dividers (5 tabs labeled: Math, Science, Social Studies, ELA, Encore)
