Two staff members test positive for COVID-19 | No risk of transmission to others

The district has learned that over the extended holiday weekend two staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

Our thoughts are with the individuals who tested positive and we wish them a speedy recovery. Privacy laws restrict the disclosure of personally identifiable information of anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Liberty Elementary School

A staff member has tested positive for the coronavirus. The individual was not on campus while contagious and public health officials report that there is no risk of transmission to staff or students.

Liberty Middle School

A staff member has tested positive for the coronavirus. LMS has been on remote instruction since Feb. 8 and public health officials report there is no risk of transmission to staff or students.
In-person instruction was scheduled to resume Feb. 16 but school was closed due to inclement weather. In person instruction will resume Feb. 17.
