Two Liberty Students Test Positive for COVID-19

The district has learned that two students have tested positive for COVID-19.

Our thoughts are with the individuals who tested positive and we wish them a speedy recovery. Privacy laws restrict the disclosure of personally identifiable information of anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus.

  • A Liberty High School student who attends school on an all remote schedule has tested positive.
  • A Liberty Middle School student who attends school on an all remote schedule has tested positive.

Because the students attend school remotely no other LCSD individuals are required to quarantine. All Liberty schools remain open as scheduled.

For more information about our health and safety procedures please reach out to your building principal. Questions about COVID-19 should be directed to your healthcare provider or Sullivan County Public Health Services at 845-292-5910.
