Monday, May 15

4:30 p.m.: Varsity baseball vs. James I. O’Neill at Liberty High School.

4:30 p.m.: Modified softball vs. Tri-Valley at Tri-Valley Central School.

4:30 p.m.: Varsity softball vs. Fallsburg at Liberty High School.
Results: Liberty 19, Fallsburg 7; Liberty broke open what had been a close game by scoring 12 runs in the 5th and the 6th inning as they went on to defeat Fallsburg 18-7 in 6 innings. Liberty’s offense pounded out 12 hits and was led by Jade Breland who finished 3-4 with a walk, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and 4 stolen bases. Megan Schmidt went 2-5 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored while Grace Wormuth also contributed 2 hits, 2 RBI, a walk, 4 stolen bases and a run scored. Olivia Dworetsky had her first Varsity hit and finished 2-3 with an RBI and run scored. Liberty was also strong on the basepaths and played solid defense. Their record improves to 2-4 in the League (2-13 overall).

Tuesday, May 16

9 a.m.: Boys varsity golf vs. multiple schools at Stony Ford Golf Course

3 p.m.: Girls varsity golf vs. multiple schools at Lochmor Golf Course

3:30 p.m.: Boys and girls varsity track and field thrower’s pentathlon vs. multiple schools at Goshen High School.

4 p.m.: Varsity softball vs. Livingston Manor at Liberty High School.
Results: Livingston Manor 20, Liberty 4 (6 innings) Livingston Manor used great at bats and base running to score 20 runs on just eight hits as they went on to beat Liberty 20-4 in six innings. The Wildcats scored 11 runs in the fifth and sixth innings to pull away. After being no-hit for the first three innings, Liberty’s offense woke up in the fourth inning as both Megan Schmidt and Aaliyah Williams legged out two-run inside-the-park homeruns to help the Indians score four runs and bring the game within 9-4. It was the first varsity homerun for each. Seniors Grace Wormuth and Angelica Rothberg also scored runs for Liberty. The varsity team finishes their season with a 2-14 record.

4:30 p.m.: JV softball vs. James I. O’Neill at Liberty Elementary School

Wednesday, May 17

9 a.m.: Boys varsity tennis championships vs. multiple schools at Goshen Sports Complex

3:45 p.m.: Modified baseball vs. Monticello at Liberty Middle School

4:30 p.m.: JV softball vs. Sullivan West Central at Liberty High School.

4:45 p.m.: JV baseball vs. Sullivan West Central at Sullivan West-Lake Harrington

Thursday, May 18

9 a.m.: Boys varsity tennis championships vs. multiple schools at Goshen Sports Complex

4 p.m.: Boys and girls modified track and field vs. Fallsburg at Liberty High School

4:30 p.m.: Varsity baseball vs. Red Hook Central at Liberty High School

5:15 p.m.: JV softball vs. James I. O’Neill at James I. O’Neill High School

Friday, May 19

9 a.m.: Boys varsity tennis championships vs. multiple schools at Goshen Sports Complex

4:15 p.m.: JV baseball vs. Monticello at Liberty High School

4:30 p.m.: Modified baseball vs. Eldred at Liberty Elementary School

Saturday, May 20
