Boys Spring Track

The Liberty Boys Spring Track team hosted Goshen and Chapel Field and a cold a breezy day. Liberty stayed close to Goshen for the first half but succumbed to the Gladiators greater depth. The Indians easily defeated Chapel Field.

The meet began with a victory in the 4 by 8 relay by the team of Miguel Campos-Castro, Jake Lescynski, Jose Luna and Gabe Desrochers. Senior Ashton Barrett won the high jump, triple jump and long jump! Senior Lucas Carrion won the 100 meter dash and was third in long jump. Eighth grader Rayshawn Reynolds was third in the 100 meter dash and placed second in high jump. Sophomore Miguel Campos-Castro was second in the 800 and placed third in the 1600 and 3200. Sophomore Troy Willis tied for first in the 200 and was second in the 400. Senior Jake Lescynski was second in the 400 hurdles. Senior Kymanni Dennis was third in the 200. Junior Francisco Miguel placed second in shot out. Junior Rich Jack placed third in discus

The Varsity 4 by 1 team of Lucas Carrion, Kymanni Dennis, Rayshawn Reynolds and Jamar Islam won their race.

Girls Spring Track

The Girls Varsity Track team beat Chapel Field handily but lost to a strong Goshen team yesterday in a home tri-meet.

The girls had some strong performances in the meet including Brooke Roth, Brianna Roth, and Alyssa Kavleski sweeping triple jump. Additional team scoring came from the following:
Eleisha Graves won shot put and was 2 nd in discus.
Brooke was second in 100 hurdles and long jump.
Brianna was second in high jump, pole vault and the 400 hurdles.
Alyssa was second in the 100 and 200.
Ally Roth was third in high jump.
Katrina Blais was third in 400 hurdles.
The 4×400 team of Katrina, Ally, Chezzy Hanofee and Chloe Ricco placed first.


Liberty 20, TriValley 2

Liberty defeated Tri-Valley 20-2 today in Grahamsville improving their record to 5-2 on the season. Gabby Magie led the Indian offense with three hits, including a booming triple, two runs scored and 4 RBIs. Jerikah Fleischman chipped in a double and single, scored twice and drove in two while Katy Decker had two hits, two RBI and three runs scored. Ana Barragan also had her first double of the season. Liberty also played a nearly flawless game defensively.
