Reopening schedule for the 2020-21 School Year

In an effort to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, the district has created a schedule that brings students back to our school buildings on a staggered schedule.

Some Liberty families have opted for a Fully remote start of the new school year, and those students will attend class remotely/virtually from home each school day.

In-school plus Remote Learning (The Hybrid Model)

Students whose parents/guardians have chosen the HYBRID schedule will attend school in person some days and will learn remotely, from home, on the other days. To ensure social distancing, students in some grades have been divided into two cohorts named for Liberty’s school colors – the Red Team and the White Team.

On Wednesdays, Liberty teachers will provide remote asynchronous instruction and will be available remotely to their students for individual and small group instruction and to provide additional support to our multi-language learners and students in special education programs. (Some advanced classes may use these days for remote learning.)

Liberty Elementary School

Pre-K

Full Remote Instruction Begins

Full Day

  • Red Team will attend in-school Mon/Tues.
  • White Team will attend in-school Thurs/Fri.
  • Full Day PK students will participate in asynchronous remote instruction on the other three days.
  • The school will assign the days.

Half Day

  • Students will attend in-school five days per week.
  • The school will assign AM or PM.

  • Students who are receiving in-school instruction for two days will participate in instruction remotely the other three days. The school will assign the days. From Sept. 9 – Oct. 5, these Grade 3 students will participate in instruction remotely.

Grade 4

  • Oct. 22 and Oct. 23
