Dear Freshman Students, New Students, and Parents:
It is my pleasure to cordially invite you to our Freshmen and New Student Orientation on Tuesday, September 4, from 5-7:p.m., in the High School Auditorium. We have re-formatted this event and I’m very excited to see it in action! It will be an enjoyable and engaging opportunity to have open dialogue with the teachers and staff who your child will interact with on a daily basis. It’s a family night event that everyone in your immediate family is invited to!
A strong parent-teacher, and parent-school bond is important for the success of our children. Open avenues of communication between teachers and parents leads to more involved students who have a higher regard for their education and are accountable for expectations that are set forth. This is the first step and fantastic opportunity for Freshman, new students, and parents to understand the culture, expectations, and the offerings that make Liberty High School a “Great place to learn!”
Our event will consist of the following activities beginning at 5 p.m.:
- Engaging presentations to introduce information specific to Liberty High School.
- A scavenger hunt to learn the outline of the high school building. Liberty Pride prizes will be given upon completion of the scavenger hunt tasks.
- Dinner will be served, backyard barbeque style! Cooked and served by many of our high school teachers and Staff.
