LMS student tests positive for COVID-19 | No risk of transmission

The district has learned that a Liberty Middle School student who was last on campus March 5 has tested positive for COVID-19.

Health officials have determined that no contract tracing is necessary and the student was not at risk of transmitting the coronavirus while at school.

Our thoughts are with the student who tested positive and we wish them a speedy recovery. Privacy laws restrict the disclosure of personally identifiable information of anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus.
