Library to host Lego Club, board games, art afternoon

Liberty Public Library will continue its series of events for students this month and next.

Elementary students are invited to the library at 189 N. Main St. for Lego Club from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 11 and Feb. 8. Students in kindergarten through fourth grades, accompanied by a parent or guardian, are welcome to use the library’s Legos to create buildings, animals, places and more.

There will be two events in January for students in fifth through 12th grades. On Tuesday, Jan. 10, “Teen Board Games” will give students a chance to play Uno, Monopoly, chess and other games while hanging out with friends. On Monday, Jan. 23, “Teen Art Afternoon” will give students an opportunity to explore their creative side using a variety of art supplies. Both events will begin at 3:15 p.m.
