Library to hold events for children, teens
Liberty Public Library is planning a series of events in the coming weeks.
- A board game day for elementary students and their parents and guardians will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 15. Children and adults will have a chance to play classic games such as Chutes & Ladders, Uno, Crazy 8s and Monopoly.
- A Teen Board Games night will be offered at 3:15 p.m. Monday, April 17. Students will be able to play a variety of games such as Uno, Monopoly, Chess and others while they hang out with friends..
- In celebration of National Superhero Day the previous day, Superhero Day will be held at the library at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29. Elementary-age students will learn how to be a superhero and make superhero themed crafts. Costumes are encouraged, but children are asked to leave the accessories such as hammers, shields and webshooters, at home.
