Liberty alumnus Ryan Cerullo returns for annual Jazz Festival on Feb. 1

The Liberty Central School Department of Music will host the 24th Annual Liberty Jazz Festival Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Middle School.

The Jazz festival includes an afternoon jazz clinic for the student musicians, then concludes with a 7 p.m. concert featuring high school and middle school jazz ensembles from the Liberty, Monticello and Tri-Valley school districts.

This year’s clinician is Liberty alumnus Ryan Cerullo, a professional musician and music educator in the Valley Central School District. His wealth of knowledge, expertise and passion for jazz will no doubt prove inspiring to our student participants. We are so excited that he is coming back to his Alma Mater to work with our students!

The snow date is Feb. 2.

The clinic takes place 3-5:30 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Liberty Middle School gymnasium.

Tickets are $3. For families of more than four the maximum admission is $15. Tickets will be available at the door.
