LHS ranks second in county as “best in class”

Seventeen Orange, Sullivan and Ulster county high schools placed on the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best High School” ranked list.

Based on college readiness, math and reading proficiency, math and reading performance, under-served student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate, schools in the three counties were ranked out of 17,245 high schools in the nation and 1,204 high schools in New York, according to the U.S. News’ ranking explanation.

Liberty High School ranked second in the county.
