LES parents invited to safety assembly on May 18

The Liberty Elementary School will host three separate safety assemblies on Friday, May 18. These assemblies are being offered as an opportunity for students and their parents to learn the measures that the school takes in order to keep students, staff and faculty. The presentation will also discuss how students can make sure they are safe coming to or from or outside of school and what to do if s/he is caught in a situation where something doesn’t feel quite “right.” The presentation also aims to educate, in an age appropriate way, about social media safety.

The assemblies will take place in the elementary school gym at the following times:

Kindergarten and first-grade: 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Fourth-grade: 9:10 – 9:50 a.m.
Second- and third-grade: 10 – 10:30 a.m.

Parents can come to any and all of the assemblies and they will be seated in the balcony.
