Elementary School Chromebook, iPad pick-up schedule

Ipads and Chromebooks for Liberty Elementary students for use during the 2020-21 school year are ready for distribution.

Prior to picking up the devices, parents must read the Mobile Device Technology Handbook and complete the LCSD Student/Parent Device Agreement.

To ensure the distribution process goes as swiftly as possible, please have the form completed prior to coming to the school.  Additional forms will be available at the school.

Device Distribution Schedule

Families with students in more than one grade level may choose the day they pick-up. However, devices for Grade 3 students will not be available until Sept. 4.

PreK (All students)

Ipads will be distributed to all PreK students. The devices will be kept at home.

  • Date: Monday, Aug. 31
  • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    Kindergarten (All students)

    Ipads will be distributed to all Kindergarten students. The devices will be kept at home.

    • Date: Tuesday, Sept. 1
    • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    Grade 1 (Students on a fully remote schedule)

    Chromebooks for home learning will be distributed to Grade 1 students who are on a fully remote schedule.
    (Grade 1 students on the hybrid schedule will not pick up devices.)

    • Date: Tuesday, Sept. 1
    • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

      Grade 2 (Students on a fully remote schedule)

      Devices for home learning will be distributed to Grade 2 students who are on a fully remote schedule.
      (Grade 2 students on the hybrid schedule will not pick up devices.)

      • Date: Friday, Sept. 4
      • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

      Grade 3 (All students)

      Devices will be distributed to all Grade 3 students.

      • Date: Friday, Sept. 4
      • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

      Grade 4 (All students)

      Chromebooks will be distributed to all Grade 4 students.

      • Date: Monday, Aug. 31
      • Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

      Device Insurance

      Students and their families are responsible for the loss or damage to iPads and Chromebooks, but insurance –  at a cost of $29 per year for Chromebooks and $14 per year for iPads – is available and strongly encouraged.

      Damage from drops and spills, cracked screens,  liquid submersion, fire, flood, natural disaster, power surges, theft and vandalism are among the events protected by the insurance.
