Through our Snack Pack program, students who are at risk of hunger during the weekends are given special backpacks filled with nutritious foods.
A typical pack might contain: proteins (tuna, beef stew, or peanut butter), vegetables (canned spinach, carrots or green beans), fruits (canned or fresh) and miscellaneous items that tinier fingers can open (fruit juice, multigrain bars, cereal, or pudding cups.)
Donations are needed to help keep this program running. If you would like to donate food or money to the Snack Pack program – or if you or someone you might know might benefit from receiving a backpack – please reach out to the main office of your child’s school or contact the Student Services Department at (845) 292-5400 ext. 5112.
