District seeks participation in community focus group

Liberty Central School District families and residents are invited to voice their opinion on the district’s current communication practices during an hour-long focus group discussion on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 5-6 p.m. in the high school’s media center.

This focus group is part two of a comprehensive review of the district’s current communications tools and outreach efforts from an outside perspective, with the goal of providing district officials with information and feedback regarding the effectiveness of our current communication efforts and suggestions for improvement.

We want to know how we can best ensure our entire community gets the news and information it needs from schools and the district. The Nov. 7 focus group discussion will be facilitated by independent communications consultants from Capital Region BOCES in Albany. Please note that the feedback from this discussion will be anonymous to the district – your identity will not be revealed to district staff or administration.

The discussion is open to all parents, families and community members. It is important that all voices are heard. Please join us to share your thoughts.

RSVPS are encouraged but not required. Please consider RSVPing for the Nov. 7 focus group at this link.
