So many of our students know that it’s very important to brush our teeth, but through our Dental Health Night, we helped ensure they learn why it is important and that there’s more to taking care of our teeth than brushing them.

We feel that dental health shouldn’t just be a discussion at home; our students should have a continuous circle of support at both school and home. That’s the reason why we felt it was so important to have this event.
The evening was funded by the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan Make a Difference Grant and the National PTA 2018 Take Your Family to School Week Grant. This event is being held in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month and the Liberty Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is one of only 55 PTA’s in the country to receive special grant funding.

Program support includes the Boys & Girls Club, Catskill Regional Medical Center, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Eat Smart New York Hudson Valley, Liberty Networking Group, Liberty PTA, PRASAD Children’s Dental Health Program, Sullivan County Public Health Services and Sullivan 180.
Thank for you coming! Please be on the lookout for the next part of our Healthy Series, Math and Movement Night, in early March.
