Budget proposal to be presented at meetings
Residents of the Liberty Central School District will have several opportunities to hear about the district’s $66.3 million budget proposal that lowers the district tax levy by $1 million, or 5.33%.
The budget will be presented to the Liberty Town Board at its meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, at 119 N. Main St. The annual budget hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, in the high school auditorium.
There will also be a community meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the Liberty Fire House at 256 Sprague Ave. in Liberty. The public is invited and refreshments will be served. For more information about the budget proposal, visit https://www.libertyk12.org/department-services/business-office/
