Budget Hearing to be held Tuesday, May 26

The Annual Budget Hearing and next Liberty Central School District Board of Education meeting will be held remotely Tuesday, May 26, as follows:

  • 5 p.m.: Anticipated executive session of the Board of Education
  • 7 p.m.: Budget Hearing immediately followed by the a regular Board of Education meeting.

The community can be address the board during the Public Comment section of the agenda.  You can also email District Clerk Tania DeFrank at tdefrank@libertyk12.org with your request to be included in Public Comment.

Budget vote is June 9; All voting by absentee ballot

By executive order, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that this year’s school budget vote and board of education election will take place June 9, 2020, and exclusively by absentee ballot due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.

On June 9, Liberty Central School Districts will cast their ballots on a $50,324,923 budget for the 2020-2021 school year and will elect three members to the School Board.
