Boys soccer defeats Chester, remains undefeated

On Wednesday, April 7, the Boys Varsity Soccer team took on league opponent Chester in their first home game of the season. The team won 7-0 on a beautiful spring day.
Scoring for the team were Liam Henry with 3 goals, Chase Racette with a goal and 2 assists, Owen Siegel and Dennis Cardenas each added both a goal and an assist. Raul Morales scored the final goal. Norlis Acosta provided 3 assists and Lewis Paz had one assist.
The entire team contributed to the winning effort.  Eduardo Romero, Juan Romero and Rodolfo Espinoza each shared time in goal though they saw limited action. Chester was unable to mount any serious attacks for most of the game.
The team is now 3-0 in league games and overall. They have scored 18 goals while their opponents scoreless!

The team faces Fallsburg on Thursday at Fallsburg, SS Seward at home on Friday and Sullivan West at home on Saturday.
