Boys Cross Country defeats Sullivan West, Port Jervis

On Thursday, March 25, the Boys Cross country team traveled to the Huguenot YMCA Camp, the home course for Port Jervis, to compete against Port Jervis and Sullivan West. The team ran well over the challenging, three-mile course. When the scores were tallied the Indians had defeated the Raiders and the Bulldogs by the same score, 15-5-0.

Liberty was led by Junior Gabe Desrochers in fourth place. The next runner was Junior Wayne Kratz in sixth place followed by Freshman Carlos Compos-Castro. Rounding out the pack were Senior Iain Elanbassi, Freshman Nate Desrochers, and Sophomore Tanner Ferguson. This was only the second race for all of these runners.

The team is now 2-2 and will compete at home on Tuesday, April 6 against Burke and Livingston Manor.
