Students can now stay after school for athletics, extra help, clubs and extra-curricular activities any day of the school week and get a ride home on a district school bus.
The Liberty Central School District Board of Education recently approved after school busing for every school day. There are now two late school buses; one at 4 p.m. and another at 6 p.m.
The late buses will stop at the Elementary School on North Main Street and will then collect students at the Middle/High School campus on Buckley Street.
The additional bus runs will enable even more Liberty students to take part in the district’s many athletics and after-school programs. The late buses have been available to students since the first day of school, which was Sept. 5.
