Equity and Excellence Team


The Equity and Excellence Team will explore ways the district can enhance the achievement and well-being of all Liberty students, regardless of race, gender identity or socio-economic status.

Professional Development Plan Team


This team will meet twice to review and discuss the district’s plan to enhance professional learning for our teachers and staff, and will evaluate how we can build our staff’s capacity to further support the children of Liberty.

Title Grant Teams


The LCSD receives federal funding to help ensure that all students have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to close the opportunity gap between disadvantaged children and their more advantaged peers.

This team will discuss and review how the district will utilize its ESSA Title Grant funding.

District Comprehensive Improvement Plan


Liberty High School is a Targeted Support and Improvement School as designated by the New York State Education Department, and the district must create a District Comprehensive Improvement Plan. The plan will include strategies that support our students’ academic, social and emotional achievement.

This team will assist in the creation of the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan.

This team will meet numerous times, with meetings scheduled both during the school day and in evenings. (Time and location to be determined.) Attendance at all meetings in not expected.
