Chaperone Notes!

Thank you for chaperoning our trip to Carnegie Hall.  Your support is very much appreciated.  Below is some information that may be helpful.

You will receive your bus assignments upon arrival to school on the 23rd!
Please report to the MS Band room at 7:15 AM.  The busses will depart at 7:30 AM
Please park your cars on the black top behind the Middle School where the students have recess.  There will be a door open for you to enter the school back there.
All Students should bring their student ID's.
Thruway stops will be BATHROOM STOPS ONLY
Please enforce the bus rules
A Map of  New York City will be included in your packets
All groups will eat lunch either at the Time PlaceNameWarner Building at Columus Circle and 59th Street.
Students MUST remain with their chaperones at all times.
All groups MUST meet at 59th Street between 6th & 7th Avenue to board the busses 1:45 PM

Itinerary

7:15 AM - Students and chaperones report to their respective rooms for attendance.
Band report to MS Band Room (Mr. Siegel)
Chorus report to MS Vocal Room (Mr. Schacher)
Orchestra report to MS String Room (Mr. Glasser)
7:30 AM - Load busses and depart for New York City
9:00 AM - Make Bathroom stop at Thruway Rest Area (This will be a bathroom stop only)
10:45 AM - Arrive at Carnegie Hall on 57th Street and 7th Avenue
11:45 AM - Attend Concert Performance of Beethoven's Twinkle Variations, Haydn's Surprise Symphony, Charles Ive's “country-regionplaceAmerica”, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and perform "A Simple Melody" with the Carnegie Hall Orchestra.
12:45 PM - Eat lunch at the Time Warner Building at Columbus Circle and 59th Street.  
1:45  PM - Meet at 59th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue to board busses
2:00 PM -  Bus departs for ride home to Liberty
3:30 PM - Make Bathroom Stop at Thruway Rest Area (This will be bathroom stop only)
4:45 PM - Arrive at LMS Parking Lot
