The Language of Music

The Liberty Middle School 5th & 6th Grade Band will present a special clinic/performance for parents, administrators, and friends on Tuesday evening, November 8th.   This 60-minute presentation will introduce you to many academic demands of playing a musical instrument.

A special feature of this presentation is that YOU, the audience, will be seated around the band members.  You will experience the involvement and intensity of musical performance created by the student musicians.  Playing an instrument requires a complex combination of intellectual, visual, physical, and auditory control coupled with high-level thinking and problem solving skills.  This `behind the scenes' view of what happens in learning the `Language of Music' interests many people.

The nature of this presentation limits the audience.  You are requested to sign up for a reserved seat by returning the slip below to Mr.Siegel by Tuesday, November 7th.
Please understand, we will not be able to accommodate more than 2 seats per band member and request that only adults attend.
