EXPERIENCE: I have taught English to non-native speakers in Liberty for the past eight years. I truly enjoy sharing my love of languages and cultures with students from other countries as they work to learn how to understand, speak, read and write English as a second language and to master the academic requirements of their new school.
Before I became a teacher I worked for several years as a research and music librarian in Orange County.
From 1978-1982 I served in the U.S. Army in Mainz, Germany and in Fort Hood, Texas earning the rank of Sergeant. It was here that my love of languages really began.
INTERESTS: I am passionately involved with Japanese Bonsai gardening, reading, making military dioramas, cooking, and language learning.
