Daily Assignments

Weekday assignments usually include spelling and math.  

For Spelling, our week looks like this (all spelling assignments are to be done in cursive):

Monday - three times each

Tuesday - ten complex sentences

Wednesday - paragraph or ELA assignment

Thursday - ABC order

In Math, all assignements relate directly to a current lesson.  Practice sheets or assigned textbook pages could have anywhere from 20 to 35 problems.  Work must be shown for all math assignments.

Sometimes, students will also be assigned a Social Studies or Science activity.  Usually two days are given for students to complete these assignments.

We also encourage our students to read for at least 20 to 30 minutes each day.  Tell us about your favorite books or characters!
