Students receive art instruction once a week for 40 weeks. During this time period students are introduced to basic art concepts and skills. The elements of line, shape, color, texture and pattern are woven into various projects within student's developmental interests and abilities. Various drawing and painting media, cutting and gluing techniques, clay, art vocabulary and art history are explored and increase in complexity
