Liberty Central High School was opened in the fall of 1963 in response to the ever expanding
population and crowding at the Main Street building. Currently it houses grades 8 to 12. The number
of students 9 to 12 is about 600 making it a class B school in most sports. The school offers a
variety of academic programs including AP classes and a newly added distance learning project.
Students may participate in a wide range of sports and other extracurricular activities.
