Administrators

The administration consists of the Principal, Mr. Jack Strassman and two Assistant Principals, Mr. Anthony Sinacore and Mrs. Shirley Weigand. Mr. Sinacore is responsible for students whose last names begin with the letters A-N and Mrs. Weigand is responsible for students whose last names begin with O – Z. Ms. Linda Argentati directs our Guidance Office and we have three experienced guidance counselors: Ms. Michelle Nunez, Mr. James O’Connor, and Mrs. Linda Krokus.

Students attending Liberty High School have the opportunity to participate in an enriched and challenging curriculum. Students can take advantage of college level classes, Advanced Placement classes, Sullivan County Distance Learning classes, and BOCES Career and Technical Education Program classes. A dedicated professional staff teaches all of our classes.

We are looking forward to the 2007 – 2008 school year so that we can build upon our successes. Last year, we inducted 18 students into the National Honor Society and we had 13 students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Over 100 music students competed in the New York State Music Association Area All State competition and our art students continue to display their work in area art shows.
