April 4th- Recommendations for Honors, AP and College level classes due in Guidance
April 8th and 10th - Members of the Leadership Team will be presenting to the 8th grade students as part of the ongoing transition program.
April 24th - The ASVAB Armed Serviced Vocational Aptitude Battery will be administered at LHS. Students can take this test free of charge and with no obligation to an Armed Service.
April 29th - Guidance will be bringing a group of 11th and 12th graders to tour Orange County Community College.
May 1st - HEADS Up Day (Higher Education Awareness Day) All staff K-12 will be asked to wear a shirt representing their own alma mater or that of a school that they are familiar with. You will be given questions for discussion with your students. The message is "Graduating from high school and further training is a goal that everyone can achieve!""
May 3rd - SAT
May 8th - College Day at Sullivan CCC college for all 11th graders.
May 8, 9, 12 and 14th - Advanced Placement exams will be administered at Liberty High School
Over 50 students are enrolled in the SAT preparation course.
Master schedule planning is underway.
Counselors are meeting with students to enter course requests for next year and review four year plans.
The Student Support Staff meetings are continuing every Wednesday at 1:30.
