Meet Your Teacher
I began my teaching career with the Liberty district in 1988. I currently teach general music and direct the chorus at the middle school.
In 1984 I became a student at Ithaca College where I majored in Music Education with a concentration in piano performance. After re-locating to Liberty I attended SUNY New Paltz on a part time basis and earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education.
I am involved in variour school committees and currently serve as President of the Liberty Faculty Association. Performing and being a part of the arts culture in our community is important to me. I serve on the Board of Directors for Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop and have directed several musical productions for them.
On weekends you will usually find me working at the Bradstan Country Hotel in White Lake where I provide music and accompany their singers. I also serrve as music director and organist at the Liberty United Methodist Church.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, composing, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
