The Liberty Central School District has ongoing
registration for new students throughout the school year and summer.
In addition, every spring, the elementary school hosts its own
kindergarten registration and orientation. For a child to qualify
for kindergarten, he or she must be five years of age by December 1
of the school year they start school.

Registration is by appointment only from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Central Registration Office is located in the District Administration building, behind the high school. The address for Central Registration is 115 Buckley Street, Liberty, NY 12754.
documents are required for registration:
• Documentation of child's age;
• Immunization records of child;
• Proof of residence; and
• If applicable, custody/guardianship paperwork.

Special Education Programs are available. If you suspect that your child may have a physical, cognitive, or emotional disability, you have the right to refer your child to the District’s Committee on Special Education for an evaluation. Click here to read a notice about Special Education Services.
