Liberty Central School District invites all parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, and students in grades 3–12 to participate in our Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) Survey. The survey will be open later this month.
The DTSDE Survey is part of the New York State Department of Education requirements for Focus and Priority Schools. Survey questions address leadership and capacity, school leader practices and decisions, curriculum development and support, teacher practices and decisions, student social and emotional developmental health, and family and community engagement.
The district committed to listening to our community’s feedback and using it to instill positive change in our schools. By working together, we believe that we can lay an educational foundation upon which our students can build a bright, successful future.
Parents, if you have a current email address on file with the district, keep an eye on your inbox for a personal invitation and survey link. If not, you can take the survey here. Paper surveys will also be mailed home.
The link will also be posted on Facebook and will be sent out to all parents who have opted in to our text messaging system. Paper surveys in both English and Spanish are available upon request. Students will participate in school during the survey window, using their student IDs for access.*
We’ve partnered with independent research firm K12 Insight — an approved New York survey vendor — to administer the survey and compile the results. K12 Insight’s involvement ensures the confidentiality of all responses, and their final reports will share only the overall findings, not individual comments or responses.
