Liberty residents are invited to participate in the volleyball team’s annual "Pink Out" games and bake sale on Monday, Oct. 17 in the Liberty High School.
Attendees are encouraged to participate by wearing pink and by stopping by the team bake sale to support breast cancer survivors and promote breast cancer awareness.
New for this year, players and attendees will also don purple clothing or accessories to support and promote awareness for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
The junior varsity game will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game. Freshly baked goods and breast cancer awareness items will be available while supplies last.
Attendees will also have a chance to receive a raffle items that have been donated by local businesses.
Proceeds from Pink Out will go toward Ride2Survive of Sullivan County. Ride2Survive is a local association that raises funds to assist local residents who have been diagnosed with cancer pay for the cost of gas and tolls/parking while undergoing doctor's visits and treatment.
