School supply lists for Grades 5-6 now available

School will start on Wednesday, Sept. 7. School supply lists for grades 5 and 6 are available below.

Ms. Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Hosking (Grade 5)

• Four 3 ring binders (1 inch wide) for ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies
• Three 100-page, wide ruled marble composition notebooks for Math, Writing, and
• Reading Lab
• Six pocket folders
• One small box of colored pencils, markers and highlighters
• One glue stick
• One large box of tissues
• One package of small index cards
• One zippered pencil case that is easy to carry
• Two hand-held pencil sharpeners with a receptacle to catch shavings

Additionally, please bring (and be prepared to restock throughout the year):

• Post-it notes (a variety of sizes)
• Wide ruled loose-leaf paper
• Two packages of sharpened No. 2 pencils

Mrs. Decker and Mrs. Krebs (Grade 5)

• ELA – one wide-rule marble composition notebook, one (1 inch wide) binder, one pocket folder
• Reading – one wide-rule marble composition notebook, one pocket folder
• Writing – one pocket folder
• Math – one wide-rule marble composition notebook

• One (1 inch wide) three ring binder (note: there is no room for trapper keepers or larger binders or organizers)
• One package of subject dividers
• One ruler
• One yellow highlighter
• One hand-held pencil sharpener with receptacle to catch shavings
• One pair of scissors
• One package of 3x5” index cards
• One package of glue sticks
• Two (100-page, wide rule) marble composition notebooks (for reading and writing journals)
• Loose-leaf paper
• Sharpened No. 2 pencils
• Blue or black pens (note: no gen pens, please)
• One box of crayons, colored pencils or magic markers
• One zippered pencil case

Grade 6 Supply List

(Organized by subject)

• ELA and Social Studies – one (1 inch wide) binder, three pocket folders, two or more packages of loose leaf paper (will need to be restocked throughout the year), two marble composition notebooks, one set of 3x3” and 1 ½ x 2” Post-it notes.

• Math – one wide-rule marble composition notebook, two or more packages of loose leaf, one pocket folder, one pack of graph paper, at least two dozen pencils, erases, two handheld pencil sharpeners with cap, one ruler, one pack of standard index cards

• Science – one (1 ½ inch wide) binder, one package of subject dividers, two or more packages of loose leaf, one pack of standard index cards, one package of highlighters

• Physical Education – one pair of sneakers, one pair of shorts, one tee shirt, one sweatshirt

• Additionally, please bring one pencil case, extra loose leaf paper, blue or black pens, a box of colored pencils, one or two boxes of tissues and encore folders.

• Please note that the middle school lockers are narrow and small. Backpacks with wheels or handles will not fit. A standard sized book bag is fine. Please be aware that supplies run out during the school year and may need to be replenished. White-Out is not allowed in the school. Textbooks are the students’ responsibility. Lost or destroyed books must be paid for.
