OCT. 14, 2014

It’s time for Liberty students, teachers and staff to display their spirit and pride during Pride Week, which will kick off on Monday, Oct. 20 and concludes with Friday’s Homecoming Dance.

One of the most beloved traditions of Pride Week is dressing up for the various theme days. On the week leading up to Homecoming, traditional dress is cast aside as students (along with some faculty and staff) dress up per theme. This year’s theme days will be:

Monday, Oct. 20 : Twin Day
Tuesday, Oct 21: Tie Dye Tuesday
Wednesday, Oct. 22 : Unity Day
Thursday, Oct. 23 : Pro Sports Jersey Day
Friday, Oct. 24 : Red and White Day

The will culminate on Friday, Oct. 24 at the Homecoming Dance which will take place from 7-10 p.m. Tickets cost $6 in advance; $8 at the door. Students are asked to arrive no later than 8 p.m. Re-entry is prohibited. For more information about Spirit Week or the Homecoming Dance, contact Bernadette Hofsommer at
