The top four percent of graduating seniors from each of Sullivan County’s eight school districts were honored at the 30th annual Academic Achievement Dinner on June 1 at The Rockland House.
Every year, Sullivan County BOCES holds this prestigious event to honor the county’s top students. The Superintendents of Schools, Principals, Board Presidents and members of the press attended the event. The Guest Speaker was Barry Lewis, the Executive Editor of the Times Herald-Record Four seniors from Liberty Central School District were honored for their outstanding achievements. They were joined by the district’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Silver, Middle/High School Principal Jack Strassman, Board of Education Presidents Andy Kavleski, and members of their family to celebrate and reflect on accomplishments of the Class of 2015.
