School is almost out for the summer, and the summer food service program will be available again to Liberty area students.
The Liberty Central School District will once again be participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program from June 29 of this year through August 14. Participating sites (listed below) will provide free, nutritious meals to kids and teens 18 and under.
Meals will be provided to all children without charge. There
are no income requirements to participate in this summer program,
and students do not have to be enrolled in Liberty Central
Liberty Elementary School – 201 Main Street
Beginning June 29, lunch will be served to any child, accompanied by an adult Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Liberty Elementary School cafeteria.
Hanofee Park – 136 Sunset Lake Road
Beginning June 29, The district will provide breakfast and lunch each week day to participants of the Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Day Camp participants at Hanofee Park from 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Liberty Middle School – 125 Buckley Street
Beginning July 6, the district will also provide breakfast and lunch each week day to students taking part in the full day Grade K-6 and Grade 7-12 Summer School Programs at the Liberty Middle School from 7:30 - 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
